Answer: High Anxiety Levels – Wish there was a more elaborate answer but that is the truth, plain and simple. What exactly is anxiety however a lot of people ask. By nature, anxiety is the most basic of human emotions. Its part of the old fight or flight mentality we all used to be part of so long ago when we first walked the earth. Its not supposed to be dangerous, its supposed to be there to help us. Help did you say? Yeah fat chance on that one buddy. Its true however! Anxiety is categorized by a state of fear or apprehension which usually comes on from the anticipation of real and/or imagined threats, situations or events. Everyone has felt this at some stage in life, so your not alone. A lot of people out there just dont understand what a panic attack is and or can do to one.
  • Extreme Dizziness
  • Blurred Vision
  • Tingling
  • Feelings of Breathlessness
  • And in its most acute form, total blackout.
Naturally, its understandable that some people fear they have contracted a terrible illness or extremely serious mental condition but nothing could be further from the truth. The thought of losing complete control can be exceptionally terrifying. The brain sends a number of signals to the nervous system when it is confronted with danger. The nervous system is what is responsible for getting your body ready for the up coming battle so to speak. It is also the main system involved in calming down and restoring your equilibrium. Other areas / symptoms which can appear are:
  • Cardiovascular Effects
  • Respiratory Effects
  • Vision Disturbance
  • Disrupted Digestive System
Panic Attack Symptoms I wanted to go through some of the symptoms of panic attack with you today. A panic attack is defined as a period of intense discomfort or fear that is usually accompanied by one or more of the following symptoms:
  • palpitations
  • sweating
  • trembling or shaking
  • shortness of breath or smothering
  • feelings of choking
  • chest pain or discomfort
  • nausea or abdominal distress
  • dizziness or lightheadedness
  • pins and needles
  • diarrhea
  • dry mouth
  • headache
  • derealization or depersonalization
  • and chills or hot flushes
The two main types of panic attacks sufferers have are: 1. Spontaneous or Uncued Panic Attacks – These panic attacks are not associated with anything in particular, and appear to come out of the blue from nowhere. Frequently, these panic attacks will occur during periods of relaxation or when sleeping. 2. Situational or Cued Panic Attacks – These panic attacks occur in anticipation of a given situation or where an attack has been previously experienced before. Usually the symptoms start to show up when one enters the situation. The most common fears people have about panic symptoms are:
  • Losing Control
  • Am I having a Heart Attack
Losing Control Worried about driving into somebody else? Or into a pedestrian? Or picking up a knife during a turn and stabbing somebody you hold dear? Rest easy, as scary as those thoughts may be, you are not going to comitt any of these acts. Your mind is just working overtime, because it feels if your body is like this, it may be next. Heart Attack During a panic attack your heart starts to palpitate very fast, a response from the adrenal being released into your blood stream by the nervous system.
Panic Away is a natural technique to stop panic attacks and general anxiety fast without the use of dangerous drugs . Dont feel nervous about going to the supermarkets, cinemas, public transport or even sitting at the hair dressers again.
